CIAHF and Chamber To Host Golf Outing
This has been a year like no other, but we are still planning to SWING into action. We have decided to team up to do more FORE our community! We know the puns are bad, but our intentions are good. In an effort to maximize our resources and honor your time, the Canton Chamber of Commerce and Canton-Inwood Area Health Foundation have decided to host a joint fundraising golf tournament for the first time this year.
Many of you have been faithful supporters of both tournaments in the past and we are thankful. Some of you have supported one or the other and we are grateful. We hope you will all continue to support our work in the communities we serve.
The Canton Chamber of Commerce will continue to use funds raised through the golf tournament to provide grants for the purpose of downtown revitalization. Canton-Inwood Area Health Foundation will continue to offer scholarships to local students and grants to organizations that promote health and wellness in the community. Your support will continue to preserve and enhance the quality of life we enjoy. By participating in just one tournament, you can do twice the good in half the time!
We have increased the registration fee slightly. However, with just one registration fee your overall expense is reduced. We also understand your time is valuable. Our hope is organizing teams only once and dedicating just one day to an event will be beneficial to you.
Our sponsorship levels have also changed to offer participation on a wider scale. All levels of sponsorship are needed and appreciated.
We plan to split the expenses and proceeds equally between the two organizations. If this concerns you, we would encourage you to support your organization of choice directly through one of our other individual fundraisers.
All teams must be pre-registered. Please return the enclosed registration form by Friday, August 14. We hope you will join us!
